Dear students, Today you have your 20-point mid-term assessment. In your group, you should deliver a presentation which is at least three minutes per person. You should use a software application such as Powerpoint or Keynote, and transfer your file to a USB so that you can plug it into the class computer. You will be assessed on content (new, interesting, researched, critical thinking), delivery (eye contact, at least three minutes), vocabulary, grammatical range and accuracy, and pronunciation. Kind regards, Chris Elvin

Kind regards, Chris Elvin

May 13th lesson

Dear students, Today you will have a student led activity, and then you will finish 1990. Dictation: You should be on a different print to your partner so that you can't read the text as you listen. Pairwork: You should be on different pages so that it becomes a listening activity, rather than just reading. Class survey: Please ask the same original question to everyone in the class based on the topics or words of the unit. You may ask an open ended question, or you may write a list of answer options for the class to choose from. Research and write: Within your group, answer a different question. Research and write your answer, and then read your response next lesson. Please do not copy paste - it won't help you to improve your English. After you have finished 1990, you will start 1991. Kind regards, Chris Elvin
